Subang Jaya’s e-hailing riders now have a dedicated spot to rest, recharge and regroup, following the introduction of the TEDUH@MBSJ Project at the SS15 Modern Market.
Introduced by the Selangor State Government through its Standing Committee on the Cultivation of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), in collaboration with the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ), the initiative is designed to offer a safe, comfortable and orderly resting space for riders who keep the city moving day and night.
Strategically located in the bustling SS15 area, the facility comes equipped with essential amenities such as designated motorcycle parking, safety barriers, phone charging ports, comfortable seating, cooling fans and energy-efficient LED lighting. Security is also prioritised with the installation of CCTV, while recycling bins encourage responsible waste management.
More than just a pit stop, TEDUH@MBSJ reflects MBSJ’s broader commitment to sustainable technology and people-centric urban planning. By recognising the needs of e-hailing riders, the council aims to improve daily working conditions while enhancing public facilities for the wider community.
