Have We Got a Serial Dog Killer on the Loose in Subang Jaya?
ANOTHER dog, this time around a 9-year-old female pitbull mix, has succumbed to suspected poisoning in SS17, Subang Jaya.
According to its owner Ong, the dog was vomiting and purging blood for two days before it died.
โOn Feb 16 at around 730pm, Oreo was active as she usually wasย when my son fed her. But just about 15mins later, we found her vomiting.โ
โRight after that Oreo lost consciousness. I immediately brought her to a veterinary clinic in SS14. The veterinary doctor immediately attended to her,โ he said.
Ong said the doctor said the dog showed signs of poisoning and there was very little that could be done.
โThe doctor gave her a jab and orally gave her water with some charcoal tablets and after awhile, Oreo woke up. But each time we gave her water, she would purge blood.โ
โWe brought her home and nursed her, hoping she would get better. But she succumbed to the poisoning early in the morning on Feb 18,โ he said, adding that he lodged a police report after learning of a similar dog poisoning in the neighbourhood -๐๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ .

According to Ong, the veterinary clinic issued him a letter which cites poisoning as the possible cause:
โOreo is a 9 y/o female pitbull brought in to clinic with the complaint of sudden collapse of the animal. Upon physical examination, the dog was on lateral recumbency, pale mucous membrane, having bloody diarhea and vomit. Blood test and radiograph was taken, no sign of infection, mild anemia and suspected to have poisoning which causing all the symptoms. โ
Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat has confirmed that a police report lodged by Ong had been received.
