A family home in SS14 Subang Jaya was burgled in broad daylight by three suspects who boldly entered the house without raising any suspicion on January 30.
The suspects arrived in a CRV, with one accomplice at the driver’s seat while two male suspects unhinged the auto-gate before making their way to the front door of the house. Armed with what appeared like crowbars, the suspects clawed their way into the home through the front door grill and wooden door.
Both suspects wore face masks and hat/cap to conceal their identity throughout the 10-15mins job. The driver drove off and circled around to park his vehicle on the opposite side of the road while waiting for his accomplices.
The house owner in her police report said she had left the house at 9.15am. At 1pm, she received a call from her father who had passed by the house.
“He told me my auto-gate was open and so was my grill and front door. I checked my CCTV and discovered that at 11.01am, a dark grey vehicle (CRV) had arrived at my gate.”
“Two men had alighted from the car and entered my home while another was in the car. They broke the door knob,” she said.
The house owner said two rooms on the upper floor were ransacked and so was a storeroom downstairs.
“I lost some jewellery and foreign currencies in the break-in,” she added.
Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat when contacted about the incident confirmed a police report had been lodged.
“We are investigating. We would also like to appeal to eye-witnesses (neighbours or passersby) to assist us in this case. Please contact the police station nearest to you,” he said.
