THE Kelab VW Beetle Malaysia Classic Cars event at the Summit USJ took on a charity twist this year with funds raised from their event channelled to help fulfil wishes of ailing children across the country.
Beetles and other classic car owners congregated at the shopping mall last month for their annual meet-up and also to raise funds from the proceeds of their activities to the Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia, a national charity dedicated to fulfilling wishes of terminally ill children.
The one-day event was lined up with many activities including a classic car fun ride, kids colouring contest, car boot sales, VW merchant booths and lucky draws.
VW owner Cliften Faustinus Nathaniel who recently won the most liked car at the Volkswagen Festival in Setia Eco Park donated his RM5,000 prize to the charity at the start of the event at Summit USJ.
