SPORTING events have a way of bringing people together; and that’s exactly what Bandar Sunway residents did at their inaugural Futsal Tournament for Subang Jaya.
Organised by MBSJ’s MPP Zon 2, the event saw the gathering of futsal teams from different areas of the PJS7, PJS9, PJS11 and Lagoon Perdana neighbourhood pitting their skills at the court.
The SS17 Fire & Rescue Department also sent a formidable team to “fight it out” on the court.
The whole day event had its thrills and spills; providing the opportunity for players to show their skills, stamina and agility at the game.
According to councillor Ronald Tah, this was a first of its kind tournament to be organised by the community and for the community.
