The spirit of community and health advocacy was in full display as City Revival Community Services Bhd successfully hosted their Blood Donation Drive & Health Carnival last month, achieving a commendable result, collecting 59 bags of blood to replenish vital hospital stocks.
This included a Focus on Wellness: Attendees took advantage of free basic health screenings and early cancer detection services, encouraging proactive health management. At another corner, professionals were on hand to provide valuable consultations, including dietitian & physiotherapy advice for better mobility and nutrition, and legal advisory services for community members.
The day was filled with engaging sessions, featuring Fitness & Wellness Talks, Inspiring health-focused talks, and practical CPR & Basic Life Support training to equip the public with emergency skills.
MBSJ’s MPP Zon 3 councillor Ken Chia also dropped in to lend support for the event.
