Their 8-dish CNY menu includes Hong Kong style roasted duck, garlic butter baked sea prawns, and steamed dragon grouper head with bacon. They also have salmon or jellyfish yee sang available to order. Hou Duck will be open from 10am – 10pm as usual throughout CNY.
Famous for its signature grilled fish and modern Chinese interior is TANYU 探鱼烤鱼 (LG2.128B – next to DIN). It originates from Shenzhen and offers 8 types of flavours – most of which are spicy. Available for pre-order is the Red Prosperity Reunion Set, suitable for 3-4 pax and comes with free Abalone Yusheng, and Golden Fortune Osmanthus Cake. The outlet also serves exclusive items such as TANYU “RED” Fiesta, Grilled Fish with Fresh Tomato, Lychee Shrimp Ball, and Jumbo Rosé Drink. TANYU will be open from 10am – 10pm as usual throughout CNY.

For those who enjoy Cantonese cuisine and elegant interior design, Oriental Sun (G1.41) serves excellent dim sum and premium seafood, pork, and poultry dishes. The restaurant offers a variety of Chinese New Year Celebration Set menu and you can ‘Lou Hei’ with abundant Yee Sang options available. Dine in with a spectacular view of Sunway Lagoon or in private dining rooms with karaoke amenities. If you prefer to enjoy your reunion at home, there is a take-away promotion by Dragon-i (G1.43) for the Prosperity Reunion Treasure Pot. The Shanghainese restaurant specialising in peking duck is also introducing two new lobster dishes for CNY – the Sautéed Lobster with Salted Egg Yolk and the Braised Lobster with Fried Noodles. Dragon-i will be open on 28 January for lou sang and poon choi take-away orders only from 9am – 2pm; closed on 29 January; business as usual on 30 January (11am – 2:30pm and 5pm – 9:30pm).
Putien (LG1.43A) is inspired by Fujian cuisine which uses fresh seafood (often found in the coastal city of Putian) and seasonal fruits. With set meals (Propitious, Opulence, Shang Yang Tai or Prosperity) available for 2 to 10 pax, enjoy their abalone or scallop Yu Sheng and various seafood delicacies such as Poached Tiger Prawns with Chinese Herbs, Braised Red Mushroom with Chicken Soup and Steamed Live Dragon Grouper – all packed with nutrition and auspicious blessings. Putien will be open on 28 January from 11:30am – 2:30pm and 5:15pm – 9:30pm; 11:30am – 10pm as usual on 29 and 30 January.
Looking for an alternative take on tradition? Give Thai seafood restaurant Laem Charoen (G1.98) a consideration. You can try their signature deep-fried sea bass cooked in fish sauce or their new menu item Glass Noodle with Baked Prawns. For CNY, they have prepared a Prosperity Yee Sang – Thai Style suitable for 6 to 8 pax using bold Thai flavours and refreshing Thai oranges. Laem Chaoren will be open from 10am – 10pm as usual throughout CNY.
