QUICK action by the Subang Jaya Fire & Rescue Department helped save a house in USJ2 from sustaining major damage from fire.
Subang Jaya Fire Station head Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman said an emergency call was received at 5.04pm and the first responding team arrived in 5mins at the scene.
“Fire was spotted at the rooftop of the link house and we immediately mobilised to control and put out the fire.”
“Firemen climbed to the roof from the inside of the house as well as from the outside in order to reach the affected area,” he said.
Syed Shahril said no casualties were reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
