FLAGS FLY HIGH ON MALAYSIA DAY AS RESIDENTS CELEBRATE THE SPECIAL OCCASION

CELEBRATING Malaysia Day has always been special for the older folks in SS15 Subang Jaya.

It is a special day as it marks the formation of Malaysia way back on Sept 16 1963 and it is a good occasion to celebrate as a nation.

Flags were flying high in SS15/2 & SS15/3 as residents and members of the Kawasan Rukun Tetangga raised the Jalur Gemilang as well as the 13 State flags as they paraded around their neighbourhood football field. Patriotic songs accompanied the parade and the mini-festival caught the attention of many passers-by.

Over in SS15/6 Hexagon, residents and members of the Kawasan Rukun Tetangga got together to fly the Jalur Gemilang before proceeding for a mini-walkabout around their neighbourhood. Residents, old and young joined in the celebration which culminated in breakfast for everyone.
