The flash flood that occurred at the USJ18-Persiaran Kewajipan stretch was caused by unusually high rainfall.
ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng who visited the site this morning received a briefing from MBSJ’s drainage and irrigation officers.
“I was informed that 80mm of rainfall was recorded during the one hour thunderstorm. At 60mm, it is already considered high.”
“Officers and contractors have checked the area and there’s no blackage in the drains,” she said.
Michelle also checked the drain at the junction of Persiaran Murni-Persiaran Kewajipan which also recorded high flow during last night’s rain.
