Foreigner Murdered by Housemate in SS14 Subang Jaya

SUBANG JAYA, MAY 22 2025: A 28-year-old foreigner was found murdered by his housemate in a workers’ hostel in SS14 Subang Jaya this morning.

According to Subang Jaya Deputy OCPD Superintendent Mohd Fairus Jaafar, the employer of the deceased male had lodged a report at 6.29am today.

“The employer informed us that the victim was slashed to death. A police team accompanied by the forensics and K9 team was despatched to the address which is used as a halfway house for workers before they are sent out to work.”

“We found four workers in the house. All had valid documents,” he said.

Mohd Fairus said at 8.15am, the police Criminal Investigation Department team arrested a 29-year-old foreigner not far from the house.

“We ran a urine test on the suspect which turned out negative. The motive of the murder is yet to be ascertained. The case is now being investigated under Seksyen 302 of the Penal Code which provides for a death sentence if found guilty.”

“We urge witnesses to come forward to assist us in the investigations,” he added.
