Full House at Lions Club SJ Blood Donation Drive

THE annual blood donation drive organised by the Lions Club Subang Jaya received overwhelming support from the public.

Organising chairperson for the initiative, Joey Chor said the five hour blood donation drive successfully collected 125 bags of blood and also carried out a blood sugar level test at its Check Your Diabetes counter which tested 122 people.

The event which was co-organised with MBSJ MPP Zon 1, ss15 Courtyard, SJEcho and Mamee was a thumping success with volunteers from the various Leo Clubs in and around Subang Jaya.

ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng who dropped in to show her support was visibly impressed with the turnout and the flow of the event.

People from all walks of life showed up for their pre-booked blood donation sessions. Walk-in donors for the day were also part of the successfully high turnout for the drive.
