THE heavy rain in the evening that pounded down on Subang Jaya did not deter USJ13 residents from showing up in full force for their Family Day gathering.
Families from all corners of the neighbourhood showed up for the get-together which promised to be a night of catching up with one another and sharing a meal together.
Everyone huddled together under the canopy as the rain started getting heavier but this did not dampen their spirits as USJ13 Rukun Tetangga and Residents Association chairman Kelvin Chew kicked off the lucky draw.
The huge number of lucky draw prizes and the tasty dessert served while waiting for the rain to subside brightened everyone up as one by one as lucky residents came up to receive their prizes.
ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng and MBSJ MPP Zone 3 councillor Lee Jen Uyin were also present at the event as members of the Fire & Rescue Department and Police.
All’s well that ends well. The evening was a huge success needless to say.
