It was a purr-fect occasion as MYDIN Subang Jaya rolled out the red carpet for a different kind of community outreach – one with whiskers, tails, and a whole lot of heart.
In conjunction with International Cat Day, DYMM Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin, graced the launch of “Misi Meow Prihatin”, a nationwide initiative aimed at helping stray cats.
“Every living creature matters,” said MYDIN Managing Director Datuk Wira (Dr) Haji Ameer Ali Mydin. “This marks the first time we are extending our social outreach to include the animals that live alongside us. Through this programme, we hope to inspire compassion among our customers and make it easier for them to give back.”
For Subang Jaya’s cat-loving community, it’s a timely initiative that proves even in retail, empathy goes a long way and sometimes, it even meows.
