GUAN DI TEMPLE BANDAR SUNWAY CHIPS IN RM120K FOR VARIOUS CAUSES

GUAN DI Temple Bandar Sunway marked its deity’s birthday celebration with a contribution of RM120,000 to various causes in Subang Jaya and Puchong recently.

The temple contributed to Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia (RM10,000); Persatuan Senaman Dangong Daerah Petaling Selangor (RM10,000); Pertubuhan Amal Uncle Kentang Malaysia (RM20,000); SJ Beacon Ambulance (RM30,000) and SJK(C) Sin Ming Puchong (RM50,000).

The ceremony was witnessed by Subang MP Wong Chen and other special guests.

The celebrations kicked off early in the morning with lion dance and dragon dance performances followed by the lighting of three huge “dragon” joss sticks placed in front of the temple.

Temple chairman Koay Teng Koon said 18 lions and one dragon participated in the birthday celebrations.
