Healing Meets Hospitality

Dorsett Grand Subang and Subang Jaya Medical Centre Partner to Elevate Healthcare and Hospitality Experiences

Healthcare travellers, patients, and families seeking world-class medical care alongside premium hospitality can now enjoy a seamless experience through a new collaboration between Dorsett Grand Subang (DGS) and Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC).

Located just steps apart in the heart of Subang Jaya, the two institutions have formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide patients, caregivers, and visitors with greater convenience and peace of mind – bringing together trusted healthcare and exceptional hospitality under one partnership.

This collaboration is also aligned with Malaysia’s Year of Medical Tourism 2026, themed “Healing Meets Hospitality,” which underscores the nation’s growing reputation as a healthcare destination, while ensuring the local community benefits from enhanced services and access.

Key Highlights of the Partnership:

For Patients, Families, and Guests – Preferential hotel room rates at DGS for SJMC patients, families, and caregivers; DGS designated as the preferred hotel for SJMC patients and families, offering shuttle services, early check-in, and late check-out privileges; and SJMC named the preferred hospital for DGS guests and staff, with access to a dedicated 24/7 medical enquiry hotline and ambulance dispatch services.

For Staff and Community – Health screening discounts at SJMC for DGS employees; Dining discounts at DGS for SJMC employees and SJMC Alumni Circle members; and joint health talks, community events, bundled stay-and-care packages, familiarisation trips, and roadshows promoting Subang Jaya and Kuala Lumpur as lifestyle and medical tourism destinations.

“At Dorsett Grand Subang, we believe in going beyond traditional hospitality. By partnering with SJMC, we can offer a comprehensive support system that brings together health, care, and comfort for our guests, staff, and the community,” Tania Abdullah, General Manager of Dorsett Grand Subang said at the MoU signing.

Echoing her, Bryan Lin, Regional Chief Executive Officer, Asia OneHealthcare said “Healthcare today goes beyond clinical excellence. Hospitality is equally vital, especially in medical tourism.”

“By bringing together SJMC’s world-class care and Dorsett Grand Subang’s renowned comfort and accessibility, we ensure patients and families experience the best of both worlds: excellent medical care paired with welcoming, convenient accommodation close by,” he added.
