SUBANG JAYA, JULY 23 2023: A home owner and his family in a gated and guarded community in USJ22 woke up in the morning on July 22 to find his house ransacked and burgled.
While thanking his lucky stars that the three suspects captured on his CCTV did not enter their bedrooms and harm them, the home owner who wished to remain anonymous said he suffered losses in the burglary.
“The house was in a mess. We lost about RM500 in cash and a family heirloom gold necklace given to my wife by her grandmother,” the owner said.
He said footage from his CCTV revealed three suspects had entered the house, with at least one of them wielding a parang in his hand.
“I have lodged a police report. I suspect the burglars entered the neighbourhood via the chain-link fencing to avoid being spotted by the guards,” he said.
The police report lodged has been sighted.
