LAS CARRETAS TAIPAN RAISES RM10K FOR COMMUNITY AMBULANCE

PATRONS of Las Carretas Restaurant & Bar in Taipan USJ10 really made a difference with every bite when they helped raise RM10,000 for the Subang Jaya Community Ambulance.

The amount was raised over a 4-month campaign to help save lives in Subang Jaya. For every RM100 spent at the restaurant, RM1 was donated to the cause.

Las Carretas Restaurant & Bar owner cum chef-extraordinaire Victor Siow and his wife Melanie handed over the RM10,000 cheque to the Subang Jaya Community Ambulance paramedics recently.

Subang Jaya Community Ambulance chairman TH Teoh who was present said the initiative by Las Carretas should be emulated by others in the neighbourhood.

“Thank you, Victor and Melanie, for taking that important step to forge a partnership with us. Our community ambulance provides free services for medical emergencies across Subang Jaya. The cost of running the service is borne by contributions and donations from the public and business community.”

“Every bit counts to help us save lives in Subang Jaya. Everyone deserves a second chance,” he said.
