LEARNING new skills can be fun especially in the company of new friends from the community.
More than 25 ladies (and gents) from different corners of Subang Jaya got together to learn and pick up skills on canvas screen printing on a Sunday last month.
Organised jointly by Pusat Wanita Berdaya and MPP Zone 1, the three and a half hour workshop got everyone into the Chinese New Year as they learned the step-by-step way to making their own print on a canvas bag.
While the ladies tackled the task quite easily, the men struggled a bit but eventually managed to catch up by producing their own unique prints.
