RICE dumpling season is here and everyone wants to learn to make some at home.
And it was with this in mind that the Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya (P3KU) and JKP Zone 3 organised a rice dumpling making session last month to provide hands-on lessons on how to make some for the family.
With experienced and skillful guidance, participants who signed up for the session learned how to mix the ingredients; wrap and tie the dumplings as well as best methods to steam the dumplings before serving.
Participants learned that wrapping and tying the dumplings was tougher than it appeared to be but eventually with guidance and practice, everyone managed to get their triangular dumplings in shape and ready for steaming.
