A 32-year-old man was killed in what is believed to be an execution styled shooting at PJS11, Bandar Sunway earlier this afternoon.

Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the victim who was in a telecommunications accessories shop along Jalan PJS11/28 was shot twice by one out of three assailants at point blank range.

“Our Bandar Sunway police station received a public report of the shooting at 1.35pm. Officers found the victim lying face down on the floor in a pool of blood when they arrived at the scene.”

“The victim was confirmed dead at Hospital Serdang,” he said.

Wan Azlan said based on preliminary checks, the victim had criminal records related to robbery and theft.

“Based on investigations at the scene, three suspects had entered the shop and one of them fired at the victim without prior warning.”

“Our forensics team recovered two spent shells; one shrapnel and a slug at the scene together with two blood wabs and a pair of slippers,” he added,

Wan Azlan said the case was being investigated under Seksyen 302 of the Penal Code and has been classified as murder.
