MYDIN Goes Big for Ramadan & Raya: RM10 Million+ Deals, Raya Outfits From RM30

If you’re planning your Ramadan prep and Raya shopping, MYDIN is coming in hot with a campaign that promises major savings and prizes worth more than RM10 million.

MYDIN has officially launched its “Mega Rahmah Ramadan and Kasih Syawal” campaign in Subang Jaya, with the event officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, alongside Plantation and Commodities Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad.

According to MYDIN Managing Director Datuk Wira (Dr.) Haji Ameer Ali Mydin, the retailer is doubling down on keeping prices competitive for the festive season. Yes, that includes Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung deals starting from RM30.

Here’s where it gets even better for bargain hunters: MYDIN is teaming up with Boost Bank to offer RM10 off Raya attire and 2% cashback for new Boost account holders. Plus, spend a minimum RM100 using Boost e-wallet and you’ll get an additional RM5 discount.

Foodies and families can also look forward to MYDIN’s Ramadan activations—its “Jelajah Iftar Sinar MYDIN” mass iftar with Sinar Harian is returning on a bigger scale, with Subang Jaya among nine locations nationwide.

And because bubur lambuk season is a real thing in Malaysia, MYDIN will be distributing 45,000 packs for free under “Kongsi Rasa Ramadan” from 21 February to 14 March 2026 across 33 branches, together with partners like 100PLUS, Adabi, Ayam Brand, Maggi, Ramly and more.

Prefer your bazaar experience without the heat and chaos? MYDIN says it will be hosting indoor Ramadan bazaars in its hypermarkets, featuring more than 100 types of food—including traditional and modern options, plus Menu Rahmah picks aimed at affordable, nutritious choices.

On the giving-back side, MYDIN is continuing its “Kotak SARA RAHMAH” initiative—RM100 worth of local essential goods that customers can purchase and donate to those who need it most.

Meanwhile, its MYDIN Prihatin initiative will work with 38 supplier partners to raise funds through purchases of selected brands, and MYDIN is also contributing RM20,000 towards food boxes to be channelled via the Department of Social Welfare and elected representatives.

Now, for the part that always gets people excited: contests. Spend at least RM38 on Ambi Pur and Downy in a single receipt and you can join “Balik Kampung Macam VIP P&G” to stand a chance at winning a Proton e.MAS and five free balik kampung trips.

F&N shoppers aren’t left out either—buy a minimum RM15 worth of F&N products and you could win one of 10 “Rumah Terbuka” packages worth RM10,000 each, or one of 80 vouchers worth RM150 each.

MYDIN is also running a Boost x KTMB contest with total prizes worth RM100,000: spend RM120 in one receipt to stand a chance to win a RM1,000 supermarket sweep (20 winners), plus ETS, KTM Intercity and KTM Komuter passes, and even fuel credit totalling RM30,000 (via lucky draw for 200 qualifying customers).

“Today, I officiated the launch of the ‘Mega Rahmah Ramadan dan Kasih Syawal’ campaign organised by MYDIN Mohamed Holdings Berhad at MYDIN HQ USJ Subang, which reflects our continued commitment to helping the people obtain essential goods and Hari Raya items at affordable prices,” Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.

He said that the campaign would also help empower local products to expand further in the mainstream market.

At the event, Ahmad Zahid also officiated the launch of the ‘Kak Long’ cooking oil brand, which is set to enter the MYDIN market network.

“I view the inclusion of local products as a positive step towards providing more opportunities for local entrepreneurs to grow and compete effectively in the national retail market.

“Keep supporting local products, as every support strengthens the people’s economy and creates new opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow further,” he said.
