MYDIN LENDS A HAND TO LESS FORTUNATE AHEAD OF RAYA

MYDIN Mohamed Holdings Berhad chalked up RM100,000 for 700 less fortunate children to prepare for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations.

Seven hundred children from welfare homes in the vicinity of Mydin outlets also got the opportunity to purchase Hari Raya clothes worth RM150 each ahead of the celebrations. The boys got to pick up a baju melayu, songkok and samping while the girls picked a baju kurung and tudung for themselves.

In partnership with the Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli (JAKOA), Mydin will also contribute food boxes to 220 orang asli at Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Kroh in Perak on Mac 25.

According to Mydin managing director Datuk Wira (Dr) Haji Ameer Ali Mydin,” We have stepped forward to provide the opportunity to the less fortunate to have a brand new set of Raya clothings to celebrate the festivity.”

“Our Raya collection is offered at very affordable prices. As such, we can provide a full set of Raya clothing for each individual,” he said.

According to Ameer, together with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat  Selangor Mydin also contributed to those in the list of the welfare department to receive aid.
