Open burning of scraps at a metal scrapyard company along Jalan Subang 8, Taman Perindustrian Subang has been identified as the cause of the smoky air detected by residents, mainly those living in USJ earlier last night.
“We immediately put out the fire.”
“We will be filing a report with the Department of Environment for the open burning case,” he said.
Earlier, USJ residents raised the alarm when they smelled smoke in the air which became unbearable at a certain point.
