Dorsett Grand Subang is going all out to create a memorable Parents’ Day celebration this year. Partnering with the renowned Michelin Selected Limapulo Baba Can Cook restaurant for the first time, the event at Piano Lounge promises an exceptional experience for parents and their families.

Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in authentic Nyonya cuisine, expertly prepared by the culinary master from Limapulo. The set menu boasts a tantalizing array of dishes, including their famous home-made Pai Tee: crispy cups filled with caramelized jicama topped with succulent shrimp. Other highlights include signature satay served with a special peanut sauce infused with belimbing and pineapple juice, a delectable Nyonya laksa that will leave you craving more, and roti jala paired with flavorful chicken curry. For dessert, guests can enjoy the refreshing combination of cendol with gula Melaka and ice cream, along with the irresistible onde-onde.

Adding to the festive ambiance, the talented local songbird, Liza, will take the stage, performing classic tunes from the oldies genre. Attendees will also be captivated by Baba Ken, who will regale them with captivating Peranakan stories, showcasing the rich heritage of Penang and Melaka. As a special activity, two children from each table will have the chance to join Guest Chef Florence Tan in making their own onde-onde to serve to their parents.

Furthermore, Baba Ken will demonstrate the art of Sarong Tying, inviting children above 12 years of age to participate and ikat sarong for their parents.
