This month has been a very shiok punya time. Kita all already just finished with the General Election and have already tahu the result of 221 dari 222 kerusi. One of them is akan undi 7 Disember 2022. So, selepas the last undi besar, we tengok Harapan 82, Perikatan 73, BN 30, GPS 23, GRS 6, Warisan 3, KDM 1, PBM 1 and Independents 2. Terjadilah parlimen tergantung.
Kalau kita tengok, it is macam the last election in 2018. Tapi beza is that the Perdana Menteri kena tunggu siapa as at that same day punya result, no one ada jumlah kerusi terbesar sampai 112 punya magic pagar. Undi pada 19th November 2022 and PM 10 angkat sumpah on 24th November 2022. Anwar Ibrahim jadilah Prime Minister 10.
But ok la this election. The whole process macam tak ada oomph. It felt like banyak orang tak kisah. The voter turn out was over 73% dan lebih kurang 6 juta new voters due to Undi 18 and automatic registration for all those from 18 years and above. Dulu, you boleh undi bila 21 tahun sahaja. In 2018, voter turnout was over 82% tapi tidak ada Undi 18 and all those who tidak register as voter. You know lah last time. You need to register to undi.
The election this time punya kempen pun macam tak bermaya. The hujan pun not helping bah. That is why I pun did not go out too much pergi jalan tengok kempen. Takut sakit. But now cabinet pun sudah dibuat. Not bad this cabinet. First time tengok ada kerajaan perpaduan. Never in my lifetime pernah saya terfikir boleh jadi.
My kaki kopi that day also said he very happy because of this but find a bit ganjil. Just like me, we always taruh each other due to different sokongan padu for each parti or gabungan. As far as we both could ingat, tak pernah situation like this jadi. Last, macam my last tulisan last month, you benci, last last kahwin jugalah. So kelakar bah!
Tapi ah, this is not bad one. At least they all can try to work together sama to kemudi this country better. Janganlah main macam 2018 sampai 2022 dengan 3 Prime Minister. Imagine kita dapat 3 rasa PM 7, 8 dan 9. Cabinet pun pusing pusing. At least now, ada member lain dari Sarawak GPS taking 5 menteri. There is also a Deputy PM from Sarawak. Ini betul different. Kabinet pun small at 28 orang. Serupa macam 2018. Also, ada 5 wanita. Sama macam 2018. Sabah GRS ada 1, BN ada 6. Harapan ada 15. Kalau mahu tengok berapa orang Sarawak Sabah from the 28, Sarawak ada 5 and Sabah ada 2 untuk jumlah 7. 7/28 (25%) and one pula a DPM. Ini sudah lebih inclusive.
So selesai sudah this GE15. Now the parliament will bersidang on 19th December 2022. Kita tengok siapa jadi speaker baru. We harap this speaker boleh control and bagi peluang for all including the opposition Perikatan to talk talk. Now Kong Kali Kong sudah dapat Menteri Pelancongan. Sure very interesting one to watch him. Selepas ini, harap harap we get the budget approved. Maybe kena review the previous draft dulu. But we need the budget to bagi positive sikit the sentiment orang biasa.
Now it is time again to call my kaki kopi. Need to borak borak abit as the last month so tired lah tengok TV baca surat khabar online. But I still tak tahu pakai Tik Tok. Actually, I pun takut pakai Tik Tok as I dengar many people say that Tik Tok macam banyak obscene punya. But some say, Tik Tok banyak funny punya video and some gabungan suka pakai Tik Tok. My kawan is expert with this. I want him to show me when we go minum kopi. I told him to invitelah our old kawan from the other parti saingan dulu. Sekarang sudah kawan bah and sudah kahwin. So. sure can duduk bah cerita. Last time those people all boikot us because we supporter lain warna.SO now we jadi colour blind sudah.
Now we hope the 6 negeri of Penang, Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan do not call their own state elections too awal. Tired la. Kasih rehat dulu. Anyways, most not due to expire at the earliest in August 2023. Better to have the elections after Hari Raya lah and katakan bulan June 2023. At least many voters can arrange to go back undi properly and ada cuti sekolah. This election for the 6 negeri would be interesting because now we sudah ada kerajaan perpaduan. Would it follow the Federal punya agreement kaha tau untuk negeri, you boleh lawan lah kau kau and then buat gabungan? Mana lebih baik? Fikirlah betul betul.
So, ok lah, cukup lah about this election. Macam the old Lat cartoon. We should now “All Go Back To Work” lah! Ya, cepat balik kerja. Let us all harap kita boleh focus untuk menjadikan perpaduan as the spine and arrowhead for this country Malaysia.
