A fire that broke out at a popular eatery in USJ1 Regalia was quickly put out with fire extinguishers this morning.
In a video that was circulated in the community, it showed neighbouring shop lot occupants rushing over with fire extinguishers to help put out the fire at the intermediate shop lot.
SS17 Fire & Rescue Department chief Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman said firemen arrived at the scene at 8.55am.
“Thankfully, the fire was put out by the shop owners and neighbouring tenants with fire extinguishers.”
“We arrived and found the fire was extinguished. Our men carried out a thorough check in the affected shop lot to make sure everything was safe and sound,” he said.
