SAYING “TERIMA KASIH” TO OUR CLEANERS

WHAT would our homes, office and neighbourhoods be like if we had no one to clean them on a regular basis? This mammoth task taken on by the cleaners around us has often been overlooked or unacknowledged.

But today in conjunction with Thank Your Cleaner Day, we pay tribute to all those involved in keeping everything around us spick and span.

Kärcher Malaysia, in collaboration with MYDIN and Aspansuri, took up the initiative to recognise and value the significant contributions of cleaners, shedding light on the cleaning industry’s professionalism. As part of the initiative, MYDIN and Kärcher also bestowed the esteemed “Cleaning Awards 2023” upon exceptional cleaners, recognizing their outstanding work ethics and adherence to industry best practices.

Earlier in the week, Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin and Kärcher Malaysia managing director William Kiew headed down to Laman Sukan USJ1 to show their appreciation to KDEB Waste Management workers entrusted with rubbish collection and cleaning in Subang Jaya.

Both Ameer and William gave out goodies bags to the workers and pinned Thank Your Cleaner Day button badges on the shirts of the workers who were smiling from ear-to-ear for the appreciation.

This celebration recognises and values the significant contributions of cleaners, shedding light on the cleaning industry’s professionalism. As part of Thank Your Cleaner Day, MYDIN and Kärcher also bestowed the esteemed “Cleaning Awards 2023” upon exceptional cleaners, recognising their outstanding work ethics and adherence to industry best practices.
