He said that standard chicken with an average weight of 1.8 kilogrammes (kg) will be sold at RM10 each compared with the current market price of RM17 while grade B eggs will be sold at RM10 per pack compared with the current market price of RM13.90.
“For fresh meat, it will be sold at RM35 per/kg compared with the current market price of RM42 per/kg, rice at RM10 for a 5 kg pack and 5 kg of cooking oil will be sold at RM25,” he said in a statement today.
“Alhamdulillah, JER received a very encouraging response with fresh products sold out in almost all sales locations. We are trying to get more stock of fresh products to help ease the burden of the people of B40 in Selangor,” he said.
