THE Food & Fun Fair at the Subang Jaya Buddhist Association last month drew the crowd the moment it opened for business.
Organised by the students and teachers of the temple’s Sunday Dhamma School, the event was packed with stalls selling food, games and knick knacks; bringing together the young as well as older crowd for a day of fun enjoying home cooked food and games to go with it.
The event was organised to celebrate the Dhamma School’s 30th anniversary which had its humble beginnings in a semi-detached house in SS14 at its inception.
The temple grounds were filled with laughter and chatter as SJBA chief monk Venerable U. Nyanaramsi, temple chairman Chim Siew Choon and patron Datin Rosalind Lee made their way around the stalls to have a first-hand view of what was being sold.
