The skeletal remains of a man was found in the undergrowth near the Putra Heights LRT Station sub-station at noon today, according to Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat.
“The skeletal remains was discovered by a maintenance crew carrying out work at the sub-station.”
“The body was in a blue t-shirt with a white singlet and blue jeans pants. It was found under the bridge at Jalan Persiaran Putra Harmoni,” he said in a statement.
Wan Azlan said a wallet containing two pieces of identification was found in the pants of the victim.
“The identification documents show that it is an Indonesian man. The ID stated the bearer to be Riki Mandaguna and the age indicated is 40. The card says he is from Kota Samarinda, Kisaran Indonesia.”
“Also found next to the skeletal remains is a bag containing clothes believed to belong to him,” he said.
Wan Azlan said police suspected the skeletal remains was three to six weeks old.
“We have sent the remains to Hospital Serdang Pathology Department for a post-mortem. We have classified this case as sudden death,” he added.
