Community football returned in spirited fashion last month as Subang Parliament FC led by Subang MP Wong Chen narrowly defeated the Subang Liverpool Supporters Club 5-4 in a friendly showdown.
Held after a three-month break, the game saw around 40 players take part, with the format later expanded to a 15-a-side match to give all participants ample playtime.
The friendly concluded with a dramatic sudden-death goal. Despite the loss, the Liverpool fans kept the energy alive, gathering at a local mamak to watch Liverpool’s victory parade live from Anfield.
