A dozen kids from USJ1 Angsana were given a roaring treat by the Lions Club of Subang Jya down in Kuala Lumpur to enjoy a day at Taman Tugu, an urban forest park.
The children and Lions were introduced to the proper methods of planting and a jungle trail to learn about the flora and fauna of a Malaysian forest. The program was led by Free Tree Society.
After a full afternoon outdoors, the children were feted to dinner and games at McDonald’s Taipan.
Lion Joseph Lee, the organizer, felt it was a fruitful activity seeing how contended the children were at the end of the day.
