Cops Seize RM11mil Worth of Drugs, Arrest Two

SUBANG JAYA, OCTOBER 29 2024: DRUGS with a street value of RM11mil were intercepted by the police in Bukit Puchong on October 25.

The seizure and arrest of two suspects have foiled the drugs which are believed to be syabu from reaching the end user in the Klang Valley.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) director Datuk Seri Khaw Kok Chin said two teams from Bukit Aman arrested the two suspects who then led them to a house in Bukit Puchong where 329.54kg of drugs believed to be syabu were stored.

“The street value of the seized drugs is RM11mil. If packed and distributed, it can be used by at least 1.65mil addicts.”

“From interrogation, we learned that the two suspects had just rented the house in September this year. One suspect earned RM5,000 monthly while the other was paid RM7,000 monthly as runners,” he said.

The drugs were packed into green foiled packaging disguised as Chinese tea.
