SJ OCPD Appeals for Eye-Witnesses to Help in Car Crash Investigations

Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Risikin Satiman said no one had stepped forward to help shed light on the incident which resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man who was on his way home in USJ.

SUBANG JAYA, JULY 7 2019 : SUBANG Jaya police are appealing to eye-witnesses to the motor vehicular accident which occurred along Persiaran Tujuan on Saturday July 6 2019 afternoon to come forward to help in investigations.

Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Risikin Satiman said no one had stepped forward to help shed light on the incident which resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man who was on his way home in USJ.

“I am appealing to eye-witnesses to step forward to help us. Up to now (11.34pm July 7 2019) we have not received any reports from eye-witnesses.”

“The accident involved four vehicles. The driver of the Perodua Myvi (on the USJ2 side of Persiaran Tujuan) was killed on the spot when the Toyota Rush (on the USJ4 side of the road) skidded, hit the divider and crashed into the Myvi,” he said.

Risikin said the driver of the Toyota Rush was taken to hospital after the incident. He said the drivers of the other two cars a Honda City and Proton Wira were unhurt and have since lodged their reports with the police.

“We (the police) only got to know of the incident at 6pm. Everyone was busy taking videos and photographs at the incident and failed to call the police for assistance.”

“I noticed videos being circulated on social media and immediately mobilised my men to the site,” he said.

Risikin said no car cameras were found in all four cars and there were no CCTV cameras in the vicinity.

He said investigations into the crash were ongoing.
