Stay Alert and Watch Out for Suspicious Characters, says Subang Jaya Top Cop

RESIDENTS should stay alert and keep a lookout for any suspicious individuals who may be tailing them before alighting from their vehicle when they reach home, especially in the night.

Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said this was to ensure their personal safety was not compromised.

He was commenting on an attempted hijacking of a vehicle in USJ12 by four suspects on motorcycles that happened at night on Oct 11 (Wednesday). In the incident, the 66-year-old victim was getting out his car when he was jumped by four suspects, one of whom was wielding a machete.

“The victim sustained injuries to his cheek in a scuffle with the suspects when he put up a fight. He shouted for help and neighbours came rushing out after hearing the commotion.”

“The suspects fled the scene. We are presently following some leads on the suspects,” he said.
