Lions Health Care on Wheels provides free dental health check for B40 kids
THIRTY children from B40 families in USJ got their teeth inspected, cleaned and treated last month thanks to the Lions Health Care on Wheels program which drove up to their neighbourhood to carry out the initiative.
Lion SN Tai, the organising chairperson of this project said “This bus has been travelling across the country working with local Lions clubs to carry out treatment.”
“In Subang Jaya, we worked with the community leaders of Goodyear Court 6, Nor Azliana and Faridah, to identify the children needing treatment and a suitable area to station the bus clinic.”
Throughout the event, Leos from SMK USJ 8 were on hand to usher and comfort the children with goodie bags after their treatment.
