MYDIN Mohamed Holdings Berhad is setting a target of RM300,000 to be raised to help needy families in time for Hari Raya.
Its managing director Datuk Wira Ameer Ali Mydin said the hypermarket chain was committed in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility to help raise the funds to provide baju raya together with groceries for needy families it had identified for Hari Raya through its Senyuman Syawal and MYDIN Prihatin Syawal 2022 campaigns.
“For every selected item (from our participating merchandisers), 5 sen to a RM1 will be channeled to Mydin Prihatin and the funds will be used to help the poor, welfare homes, orphanages and senior citizens who had registered for aid,” he said after the launch of both campaigns by Selangor Menteri Besar Dato Seri Amirudin Shari recently.
