SUBANG JAYA, SEPT 25 2019: A family in SS12 Subang Jaya were robbed of RM30,000 in cash and valuables on Wednesday Sept 25 when four men stormed their home at dawn.
Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Risikin Satiman said the four men were still at large and police have launched a full investigation into the case.
“The house owner was in the compound of her home at 6am when she was rushed by four men. They were wearing hoodies and full face masks when they approached the house owner.”
“One of the suspects was armed with an iron rod. The suspects opened the unlocked gate and force the victim into her house,” he said in a statement.
Risikin said 3 family members (victim, her husband and nephew) and a maid were forced into the living room.
“While one suspect watched over them, the other 3 ransacked the house for cash and valuables. They took with them handbags, watches, jewelry and cash worth RM30,000.”
“The suspects fled without harming the occupants of the house,” he added.
Risikin said officers rushed to the scene after being alerted.
