Two Hurt After Car Crashes into Divider along Federal Highway

A couple miraculously escaped a car crash with light injuries along the Federal Highway early this morning.

The vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a divider along the Federal Highway in the direction of Shah Alam near the Subang Jaya LRT Station.

According to SS17 Fire & Rescue Department chief Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman, firemen arrived at the scene at 2.35am and immediately attended to the man and woman in the car.

“The car had rammed into the divider at at Km19.1 along the Federal Highway. Both victims were not stuck in the car.”

“The woman, 23 sustained injuries to her left leg while the man, 27 sustained injuries to his right hand,” he said.

Syed Shahril said both victims were immediately handed over to the ambulance from Sg Buluh Hospital and rushed to the Shah Alam Hospital.
