SUBANG Jaya now has a first-aid training facility that caters to providing classes on how to save lives in an emergency thanks to a RM20,000 grant from ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng.
The new facility in USJ13 can take in 20 participants at any one session to learn more about first-aid and also how to respond in a medical emergency.
Operated by Subang Jaya’s Community Ambulance team (SJ Beacon), the facility will work with local communities to raise awareness on the importance of equipping themselves with basic first-aid skills while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
SJ Beacon chairman TH Teoh said the new facility will also be made available to organize first-aid training classes by qualified instructors to train personnel from corporate bodies as well.
