Nur Izzati Binti Mohd Muryadi, 6 waves at the white tiger
SIX-year-old Nur Izzati Binti Mohd Muryadi always talks about and watches videos on theme parks and had expressed her wish to go to one with her family.
An active girl who loves cycling and the outdoors, Nur Izzati is now however confined to a wheelchair while seeking treatment for her condition – Posterior Fossa Ependymoma (an ependymoma is a rare type of primary brain or spinal cord tumor).
Accompanied by CWS Malaysia board members and volunteers Loo Yan Jing, Kok Yi Syuan and her brother Yik Lerk, Izzati and family were treated to a day filled with visits to the wildlife park and also the water theme park.
Sunway Lagoon laid out the red carpet for Izzati and her family as they made their way around the theme park – bird and animal feeding, lunch and finally at the water theme park where they had a whale of a time wading in the shallow waters at the beach.
CWS Malaysia president TH Teoh thanked the management of Sunway Lagoon for responding immediately to Izzati’s wish to visit the theme park.
“Together we bring smiles back to children who are stricken with life-limiting ailments. Thank you Sunway Theme Parks,” he said while accompanying Izzati and her family on their fun day out.
