SUBANG JAYA, OCTOBER 27 2025: Subang Jaya police are investigating the discovery of a newborn baby girl found alive outside a house at Jalan USJ 9/5K this morning.
Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the baby, who still had her umbilical cord attached, was discovered by a member of the public around 10.27 a.m. inside a blue “MYDIN” bag placed near the side of the house.
“The baby was unclothed, and her placenta was still fresh with traces of blood,” he said in a statement tonight.
The infant was immediately taken to Shah Alam Hospital for medical care. Doctors reported that the baby weighed 2.6 kilograms and measured 43 centimetres long. She is in stable and healthy condition.
Police are investigating the case under Section 317 of the Penal Code for concealing birth or abandoning a child with intent to abandon, which carries a maximum sentence of seven years’ jail, a fine, or both.
