Bandar Sunway Guan Di Temple Donates RM150,000 to SJK (C) Sin Ming to Commemorate Temple’s 40th Anniversary

SJK (C) Sin Ming in Puchong received a boost of RM150,000 to its coffers thanks to the generous contribution by Bandar Sunway Guan Di Temple at the latter’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

The cheque was handed over to the school by temple chairman Koay Teng Koon during the grand celebrations dinner which saw close to 1,000 guests and corporate supporters attending.

“The contribution of RM150,000 is to chip in to the school’s coffers to help maintain the school as well as its initiatives for their students.”

“We decided to disburse this amount to a single recipient to make a significant impact on our contribution,” Koay said.

The evening was filled lion and dragon dance performances as well as performances by students from the school.

Koay thanked the sponsors for the dinner as well as devotees who had been giving support over the four decades.

“The temple’s ability to carry out events and initiatives is attributed to the support from our devotees and sponsors who have continued to significantly,” he added.
