MEMBERS of the City Revival Community Services in USJ21 successfully “harvested” 60 packs of life-saving blood for the National Blood Bank over the weekend.
The blood donation drive saw members of the church as well as walk-in donors rolling up their sleeves to help saves lives in the one-day event. Potential donors were speedily registered, processed and checked before they took their turn to donate their blood.
Attendees were also invited to sit in on a variety of talks on health, first response and general legal advice during the day. MBSJ MPP Zon 3 councillor Ken Chia who joined ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng at the event later in the day had the chance to try his hand at a hands on CPR demonstration.
