THE SS15 wet market ground is sporting a brand new police beat base thanks to ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng.
The new structure replaces the former structure which has served its time over the year.
Built at a cost of RM19,995 the beat base comes with upgraded flooring for better durability.
“This new base is to replace the old unit which has served its time. The market sees heavy human and vehicular traffic daily.”
Tan said the beat base will increase police presence in the area.
“Police officers on their rounds will stop and check at the base before moving on to their next checkpoint of their patrols.”
“We have two beat base points; one in SS15 and another at Main Place Mall in USJ21. Both are equipped to take police reports from the public,” he said.
