CELEBRATING DEEPAVALI AS A COMMUNITY

Photos by Loo Yan Jing

DEEPAVALI was definitely a great time to celebrate the festival of lights in two neighbourhoods of SS15 last month.

Both the SS15/2 & SS15/3 and SS15 Hexagon Rukun Tetangga hosted their Deepavali celebrations simultaneously with great company and good food for their members.

Guests showed up in colourful attire and mingled with one another as the late evening turned to night.

Over at SS15/2 guests including Subang MP Wong Chen were treated to a traditional Indian dance before proceeding to dinner.

Festivals are definitely a great time for communities to gather and catch up with one another. Have you joined the community group in your neighbourhood?
