Dengue continues to strike havoc and disrupt the lives of residents in Subang Jaya.
Taking it in their stride, communities mobilised search and destroy initiatives as well as cleaning up their surroundings as they try to stem the wave of dengue mosquitoes in their respective neighbourhoods.
Major efforts were activated by the Petaling District Health Combi Dengue team in USJ2 where a death caused by dengue was reported; while others in SS15/2 and USJ1 Angsana carried out search and destroy mosquito breeding spots efforts as well as cleaning up their surroundings.
Remember, dengue prevention is a collective effort, so encourage your neighbors and community to also take measures to prevent mosquito breeding and protect themselves from mosquito bites.
