LIONS and dragons were “brought to live” at a simple ceremony that is steeped in Chinese ritual at Guan Di Temple Bandar Sunway late last month.
The lion eye-dotting ceremony is a traditional Chinese ritual that is commonly associated with lion and dragon dance performances, especially during festive occasions like the Chinese New Year or other significant celebrations.
At the whole day long ceremony, at least four dragons were brought to life while close to 40 lions arrived at the temple for the same ritual.
