In the spirit of community support, the Lions Club of Subang Jaya has stepped in to provide much-needed aid to the family of Leena Balaraman, who are facing challenges due to their son’s illness.
The devoted mother of 24-year-old Neshan Raj, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, a condition affecting his lungs and digestive system, received assistance from the Lions. Neshan, too weak to work and requiring constant care and medical attention, has placed a heavy burden on the family’s resources.
Speaking on behalf of the Club, Lion Kelvin Ling said, “Our Club will help partially cover the family’s food and provisions for 6 months, so they can channel their resources for Neshan’s medical needs”.
Ling also highlighted the urgency of the situation, noting that Neshan’s condition has deteriorated in recent months, “the family needs more help than ever,” he added.
